We are actively working on expanding MapFlip!

Soon, you will be able to select your preferred target navigation app (like Waze or Organic Maps) and redirect additional link types (Bing Maps, OSM).
We are also introducing clipboard detection for link interception in restrictive in-app browsers, a smart Quick Settings Tile, support for additional languages, and compliant donation options for both Google Play and F-Droid.

    Busy times :)

Mapflip: Born Out of Vacation Frustration
During a holiday in Ibiza with my friends, everyone was using iOS while I was on Android. Every time they shared links to beaches or restaurants, they were Apple Maps links—which constantly opened in a clunky web browser for me. Getting tired of that hassle, I decided to build Mapflip to instantly convert those links into native navigation options. Launched today! :)

This solves a real friction point for Android users who get Apple Maps links. The automatic redirection to Google Maps without requiring an app switch is seamless. Most people don't realize how frustrating the Apple Maps experience is on Android - this elegantly handles the UX gap.

Does MapFlip also work with Apple Maps links coming from apps like WhatsApp, Messages or email, or are there certain apps where the redirect does not work?
